I read some comments really tearing down this story even before I started reading this. I almost gave up starting to read due to those. Fortunately, I gave this story a chance and I am really glad I did so. I really love the pacing and natural chain of events that unfolded. It did not feel awkward or forced or out of place. I love that both of them seem to fall in love naturally (as opposed to forced romance). The ending with the empress could've been given a bit more pace (as it was unpacked in a single chapter in a storybook setting) but that was just me nitpicking. It is a really well put together story.
