When she (Ariadna) decided to get married and leave her Dad (Caitel), I got really sad. I can kind of understand Caitel's reluctance. He was not exactly a normal character nor having the most normal childhood. ☹
In comparison to Ariadna's husband (Ahin), I actually feel Caitel needed more love in this world. He was hurt way more. Deep down, I wished Ariadna would have chosen to stay with her father forever. Or, I wished Caitel would have found the love of his life too (though it might be hella difficult).
Nevertheless, all's well that ends well. I hope author-nim blessed us with stories of Caitel being happy with his grandchildren.
