tbh i didn’t expect the comments to be like this lol i’ve seen some crazy stuff since reading yaoi but the fact that people are blatantly IGNORING the fact that minwoo is OBSESSIVE and that he ADMIT to it. like the mc literally feels TRAPPED you could say “oh it’s bc of what happened to mc when he was a kid” yes that may be PART of it but that’s not the reason. minwoo literally doesn’t want me to be with anyone else. i think yall are forgetting that if mc didn’t call him out on his behavior his obsession would only have gotten WORSE. he literally straight up ASSAULTED ml just bc he seen him and mc making out. idc if he’s been “yearning” for years if he actually wanted to try and start a relationship with mc he would’ve confessed YEARS ago. it’s clear that mc doesn’t think of him as anything other than a friend. ALSO before people attack me im not even saying that the ml is a good person either, bc he’s not. what he did in the first chapter was rape and he’s VERY VERY pushy. but i think yall are forgetting that the mc IS in a consenting relationship with him whether you like it or not. whether you think “he was forced into the relationship” or not doesn’t CHANGE the fact that it is in fact a CONSENTING relationship. pushy? yes. but consenting. he can end it and at any time chooses not to bc he likes the ml. now if you’re open to commenting maybe something with a little more insight or a different narrative that’s not just “but minwoo” then im open for discussions. minwoo isn’t a saint and neither is ml they’re both bad. if you don’t like stories like this DONT read it. if you want childhood friends to lovers there’s PLENTY of stories like it. but trying to paint minwoo as a saint bc you don’t like ml is INSANE and hating the mc bc he doesn’t return minwoo’s feeling is equally crazy.
