so imo like many others have said but i do think this is a story that is implying the “wolf in sheep’s clothing” and bc the dude said to not trust anyone and he did the opposite of that which led him to letting his guard down, i also think (i saw someone say this) that he is the fallen sheep since he just killed himself??? BUT in all our delusions they both live happily ever after with the sheep
