Kinda pissed of cause Khalid portrayed as wise person yet he didn’t bring a lot of guards and army with himself. Why so suicidal? What if old king was not suddenly nicer than he seems figure? When what? But overall the story is great so you can actually fell for world around love story and actually care.
He can not bring an entire army into a foreign country. That's stupid. NEVER bring an army into another country without permition. It's is illegal and a grave act of war in the real world. He is wise not to do that. It looks like he only brought one body guard which I admit is not wise, but it's just one pannel. Maybe we will see he braught more guards in the next update.
That’s so out of touch with reality. Illegal according to what? 21st century international law which doesn’t work even in our own universe? And it may even not provoke a lot of reaction. Ilya brother probably won’t start war over him with larger kingdom, he probably gonna be scared. Anyway just take for example recent stuff in entire Europe with Russians drones all over the place. No one gonna give a fuck until they start blowing up. Most countries don’t care about illegal actions or acts of war. They just wanna appease the aggressor.

I still think ML fishy. And I totally agree with all complaints about him. “He is busy with making MC king again that is why he can’t help”. Fucking priorities? Not letting your lover be beaten, mutilated, raped>>>>>>making him a king. So what is really fishy is the fact ML really is good at spying with magic, it really hard to believe he doesn’t know what Lister did to him systematically, but if he did known and done nothing . No wonder some people had impression it will be a “ML actually only uses MC, but later he actually falls in love”. And as story goes things are not getting better.
Don't jump into conclusions so much. Better read the novel cus right now we're just reading the mc's pov without knowing what's going on outside but I admit I too have been disappointed with the ml when I only read this

I didn't read the novel, but based on the webtoon's context, Sylhan is a high priority prisoner. Fjord is the king of another nation. He can't just steal Sylhan away, that will start a war. If Lister knew Fjord was actively in contact with Sylhan, he'd lock him up, or worse. Likewise, we don't know how much Fjord knows about Sylhan's current situation since he's been away at war for 2+ years.
