this story is one of those rare feel good stories with a deep and rich backstory to the characters. all of them (maybe with the exception of Sung Won) feel real. they have aspirations, fears, likes, and dislikes. I loved this. The romance was organic and the chemistry was a living breathing thing we experienced. The translation is probably the only bad part about this story but even with that, it shines through as a masterpiece. What a glorious story.

You do realize, right, that victims often carry the weight of their trauma into every decision including forgiveness? Abusers can manipulate even forgiveness. Victims forgiving doesn’t always mean the abuser deserves it.
Just like Seo-In forgiving his brother for making his life miserable wouldn't make sense, the same goes for Yeongwoon. After all, Seo-In quite literally took his life from him. This isn’t just about a broken heart.

these stories always have me so divided. as an age-gap-relationship-haver of about 9 years, im definitely of the opinion that so long as everyone is a consenting adult, fuck it. do what you want. BUT in real life? 16 years is insane. at 24 you're figuring out your life or settling into a new normal. at 40 you've got it all done and you're just prepping for fucking retirement. Lim should've stopped this before it ever even started tbh. it's too late now tho, might as well go all in

Disagree. People should mature over time and their priorities can and should change as they grow, but life isn't linear. Even if this story is a fantasy, I actually think it demonstrates well the way that people are just doing their best to muddle through. We're constantly working to try and figure out who we are and what we want to do and be, and that's okay.
