And I don't mean petty relationship drama (Oh she's already married/cheated on me), I mean TRAGEDY, one of them dies, they're both on opposite sides of a conflict, they can't live without each other but the world is unkind and won't allow them to be happy. I want to cry over a story that stays with me for months. Thanks in advance for any reccomendations!

Non-romance Medieval works?

Watched The King a while back and was interested in seeing some medieval stuff, preferably more on the realistic side than magical. It can be political, adventure, male or female lead, it doesn't matter as long as romance isn't the main plot/ the conflict doesn't stem from romance. Thanks in advance!

    Yuki to Matsu - no wrinkles but these are two very adult men and the art is seriously beautiful
