Read the manhwa again; slowly this time, so you can tell the difference between a rapist, an abuser, and a bratty person. Jaekyung is the latter, definitely not the first two.

I don't know if you know this or not, but Kim Dan has expressed on multiple occasions that he didn't want to have sex at different points in time, or they would be in the middle of having sex, and Dan tells JJK to stop, but he doesn't. If someone doesn't want to have sex, but it happens anyways: by law, that's rape. If someone who originally agreed to have sex changes their mind, but the sex doesn't stop: by law, that's rape. If someone has been forced or coerced to say yes using fear or intimidation: by law, that's rape. All of these scenarios have happened in the story, and that verbal agreement of theirs would never hold up in court. Reading a story that is being written by yaoi law and judging it by worldly laws is also very funny. If we want to start going by worldly laws, Jaekyung would not even make it to the top 100 list of semes who are rapists and abusers. By worldly law, forcing someone to have intercrural sex is rape. Forcefully fingering someone is rape. But because it’s yaoi, we have seen it happen so many times that we have decided to only categorize forceful penetration with the penis as rape and thee other two as sexual harassment. By this same yaoi law, what Jaekyung could be considered guilty of is having sex with dubious consent.

And, verbal agreement or not, they agreed that Kim Dan wasn’t allowed to say No or ask to stop and that Jaekyung would be allowed to have sex whenever, wherever, and as long as he wanted to. Kim Dan. Kim Dan agreed to this because of his grandmother and Jaekyung proposed this because Kim Dan gave him the impression that he was used to doing stuff like that for money. Jaekyung is still YET to figure out that he was Dan’s first and Dan was definitely not used to having sex for money. Given his personality, it would be weird to expect him to care about those things when he didn’t even know anything about Dan.

If Kim Dan felt he was coerced or forced into that agreement, he had the choice to cancel it anytime; which we notice he did when he left Jaekyung and instead decided to start paying back the loan bit by bit. Now, if Jaekyung were a terrible guy, one terrible enough to have to kill himself like the op said, do you think he would agree to the peanuts Kim Dan was paying him back with instead of insisting that they have sex (as initially agreed) to finish paying it off?
