I just realized that seoin, even though he hated Jaewon with his entire soul, Jaewon continues to live within him. Present Seoin parallels Jaewon not only in looks (the blonde hair) but in action too (sex maniac, doing drugs, pushy, etc). So, Seoin is continuing to let Jaewon take control of his life even tho he's dead. I'm not sure if to say Seoin is imitating him but it's definitely a manifestation from trauma. I have a feeling that once ML begins to heal from the trauma inflicted by Jaewon, he will go back to his old self (ofc with the black hair too).
When I first started this, I had absolutely no expectations because I assumed it would be another toxic shitty BL (I like toxic BL's btw) and I wasn't entirely wrong - -;;; but the backstory blew me away. This went from just another toxic story to one of my favs in the span of a few chapters. I enjoy the fact that after reading the backstory, now when you go back to read S1, most of the puzzle pieces just fit together and almost everything makes sense. From their actions, behaviors, and even words. We still need MC's side of the story to complete the puzzle but the backstory really made this go from a regular toxic BL to a story with amazingly complex characters. I absolutely love Seoin and although the backstory doesn't justify his shit behavior in present, it explains his character and actions. Plus, the art is just absolutely beautiful
