Gosh, this is utterly perfect. The historical setting is so well done, so are the characters. Their motivations, regrets, fears are so very human and how their ideals are the product of their time is brilliantly handled. It’s tragic, sweet, painful and most importantly a well told story from beginning to end. The ratings do not reflect the quality of this work.
