Aside from the grape trope, Jingi ship has always been the one in my mind to set sail
Granted he’s not a hero or a good person but his past has painted him into a villain but he at least seems to have some moral justice and common sense
I just cannot get behind Heonjae, the younger brother, yes he’s had a tragic past and no we shouldn’t blame him for being the way he is, but getting behind the man who is led by his emotions and lust, who actually needs some godgiven psychological help
VS. the man who has fought through is trauma and is fighting everyday to keep himself alive so he can put the criminals who made him the way he is behind bars
I hate to say it but the reality is: Heonjae is led by his bottom half, Jingi is following his upper half
If we want a ship where MC actually develops character and learns how to gain his footing in society after jail time, Jingi all the way

Kinda gives me the ick when I’m reading the sex scenes and then remembered Guwon literally threw up after kissing MC, like what was that about
Almost giving me, I’m sleeping with a person whose disgusted with me vibes and I’m ba da ba pu loving it vibes ( ̄へ ̄)yeah not loving it with Guwon throwing up in one chapter after a kiss and looking so disgusted from the contact
And now they’re sleeping together, we just gonna gloss over that chapter?

There’s so much back and forth and I get that it’s trying to mirror love in real life and how love IS back and forth
But there’s nothing in these past few chapters or the entire story that is even a bit relatable or that I find relatable at all to justify why there has to be so much back and forth, felt like every new chapter was just the same chapter I’d read before
There doesn’t seem to be just one ending that all of us readers will stand in unison and be happy about, am I wrong? ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
