finally a story where one person doesn’t just take the beatings!!! im tired of this trope when only one person has all the power, meanwhile the other can only be all talk no action. im loving how much ml appreciates a good show down, even if he loses. i find it much sexier he pretty much lets mc get his way in small battles, instead of wholly abusing his authority. theres some small part of him that’s chasing the thrill of mc’s attention- good or bad
