i thought there was going to be some plausible explanation for these witch trials. like they needed to kill one person every couple of months to sustain guwon’s body. my theory was that he was some type of zombie human hybrid used in order to create some cure or solution to the end of the world by studying his blood, body, or brain. i convinced myself his cruelty was genuinely for humanity’s safety, his own sustenance, and also his sanity
sadly… it looks like his whole entire persona is justifying the means to the end. the result of their “peace” is guwon being horrific to the very last of humanity where any small mishap could result in cold, violence deaths. don’t know where the romance could possibly go from here
