I didn't like constant jumping between timelines, I think I would've enjoyed this more if story of the past got wraped up sooner then it did.... Or even if we saw the whole past thing first and than moved on to their present lives, idk.... I know many reincarnation stories are composed in a similar way and in general I'm not a big fan of it, but I minded it much more here - because there aren't true parallels between certiain events in their past lives and simmilar events in the present which would justify the need for that many flashbacks. There isn't much similarity between the two at all. And story of the present was kinda too uneventful overall. It could've been told in, like, four or five good chapters.
And besides, I would like to know more about the supernatural element here and the trials emperor guy went trough in order to follow mc's soul, that would have at least been interesting and I would like to see the bastard struggle some more fr.
Yoon Hee did say that his goh would never turn against him, but if we take into consideration the wrath of his deity I think the curse could get redirected to him - since we saw Seojin kind of starting to wish he wouldn't have to leave Yoon Hee behind once he dies (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 That's somehow what I thought would happen since the begining anyways
So, I'm not done, I'm only at chapter 61 but OH GODS AM I IRRITATED because EVERY FUCKING important moment or conversation just NEEDS to be cut off or interrupted ALL THE TIME. Just whyyyy, its lousy writing, wayyy too repetative with it and soooo annoying, can't writer just let the scenes or conversations happen till the and and why can't they? Are they rushing somewhere? Or do they think it's somehow still charming shtick even tho it's so excsessive? 'couse it really ain't..
I really love this author but this is their weakest work somehow. I excitedly followed each update out of love for their work, but until the very end I just couldn't get into it. it has good parts, for example I really liked the story of Yise as a mortal, how he met Rowan and the beginning of his existence as an immortal.. But overall I think it lacks both humor and emotionality compered to their other works here, as well as significant chemistry between the two main characters ( ̄∇ ̄")

THAT WAS WONDERFUL
