Because of the way yaoi manga is often written Ik jerk mugo is going to be framed as the best choice or the good guy despite his nasty attitude, abusive behavior and bad character. And Ik Sir Mugo who is obviously the kindest is going to be framed as being suspicious and not to be trusted. Further pushing this narrative that mean, traumatized, unhealed men are actually better then men who don’t abuse you. Idk why this is so ingrained in yaoi culture, it’s an aspect I really really detest. But alas… not enough for me to stop tuning in lol. Anyway, Ik he’s gonna be written poorly but realistically sir mugo is the only mugo that is even suitable as a love interest. I like monster mugo too but his childlike demeanor makes him inappropriate in my eyes. And jerk mugo needs extensive therapy and anger management, and also lessons on what consent actually is （￣へ￣）
