A meaningless term that could easily be left unused here lol cismen can give birth in this fictional world so why stick with a reductive word from our reality ? To me it just feels like no matter if the story is about two men some female authors subconsciously use the "heteronorm" dynamic to define the relationship.
My guess is that they use the term “mom” to avoid confusing the readers. If the children were to call both of their parents “dad,” how would we know which one they’re referring to? So, I think they stick with “mom” just to make that distinction clearer. Still, I totally agree, it’s about time they come up with a new term. I mean, if you’re going to create a fictional world where male pregnancy is the norm, you might as well invent a word for it too.
I don't get the hate toward Juheon tbh some people are just so easily understanding of Dohu's character and totally diminish Juheon's struggles. The guy thought he finally found solace with Dohu only to learn that the begining of his interest in him was because he needed something from him just like every other person Juheon ever met.
Did you all forget the part where his aunt showed him a picture of Dohu making it known that she follows his life closely and could do something to Dohu if he didn't listen to her ??
Did you forget how desperate he was to run back to Dohu at the end of the season ? He would've probably make up by now if it was just up to him. My money is on him behaving that way to protect Dohu.

Ok so just read chapter 71 and honestly I think my theory just drowned lol but after seeing his inner monologue I still stand by him. I feel sad for Dohu but their relationship was more than love for Juheon, he thought he had finally found someone who he could be his true self with and be vulnerable after being deceived and used so many times he started masking himself. He felt like he could finally breath easily only to realize that he was once again deceived and used. I can't even find the right words to explain how frustrated I feel when I see people diminishing his pain because it isn't visually shown like Dohu's.
Honestly I'm happy Jiho has Yujun because clearly that guy is head over heels for him lol Jiho needs someone who's patient and attentive but he also clearly needs professional help because no matter how much Yujun loves him not everything can be fixed with the power of love. Realistically a relationship can't last if one partner is shouldering everything for both of them in fear of his own worries and feelings being too much for the other due to them having mental issues.

I'm going to need to take a minute lol I already disliked the band very much for their lack of actions whilst Sihyeon was very obvisiouly loosing himself, now you're telling me at least one of them had the dark details and still didn't do his best to get Sihyeon out ? He probably got pushed away by Sihyeon sure, but who wouldn't try to hide something as traumatic as that ? If he knew and still stood by till it was too late someone's gonna need to hold me back
This is why I said before that I don't forgive any of the band members and sure as hell relieved neither any of those mfs in the industry is the ML because even if they are remorseful or sorry about everything its still far too late for OG!Sihyeon, and none of them tried to understand him, help him, or try to get to the bottom of it even if there were SO MANY SIGNS, none helped significantly to the point that Sihyeon remembered it helping. Their kindness current feels so fake and forced and wayy too late. They only liked current MC because he isn't broken.
I'm sure they already know deep down that this isn't Sihyeon but I hope that someday they'll be forced to actually acknowledge it, I hate the fact that he was never mourned not even by his little sister because as far as anyone's concerned "Sihyeon" is still alive.
I feel hurt for Hyesung tbh, Byul doesn't know any better because he probably doesn't know what happened between Byul and that poor excuse of a mother Byul had, but Dojin does and it's pissing me off that he's keeping her all nice and comfy AND is even allowing her to see Byul. All that WITHOUT Hyesung even aware. Dojin sucks
