I was so shocked at the rushed ending I tried searching up the novel
I haven't found any complete translations, but I have found a forum where some people gave spoilers from the novel that explain things a lot more that unfortunately didn't make it in the manhwa (probs got axed)
- The system is not made by a god or supernatural entity but is actually made by the lord of the magic tower. It's made using both his and Jerry's mana to help Jerry.
- The system was made because he and the spirits noticed that there's a rift in dimensions because the world kept regressing
- They figured out that the center of the regression is Jerry and Ilya. Every time they got a bad ending the world regressed, though its not explained whether it was consciously or not. This also explains why there hasn't been a single happy ending recorded for them.
- The system was then made to help guide Jerry (which also made him remember his past life, which mean he's reincarnated)
- The system records all the past regressions, which also explains the multiple endings. So all the different endings have happened at some point in the past world regressions.
Basically Ilya and Jerry getting together saved the world lol

I was really frustrated with the amnesia twist at the end of the last season but taehyuk is still very himself (plus with the added bonus of puppy dragon husband) so this arc isn't starting off so bad

Some are saying about how wasteful Soohan is about burning the casino money but he couldn't keep the money- it's the one last thing that's keeping his toxic af father desperately clinging onto him. Even if he spent or donated all that money, his father would've kept pestering him to track down it all down and get it back. It had to be completely GONE and the physical proof had to be in front of his eyes.
Sohan didn't CARE about the money - if he really wanted to keep it he could've found a way with the help of his (both human and alien) friends. But he was shown to be uncomfortable with the insane amount of it, and all that money just gave him misery via his father and his father's friends trying to leech off of him. Sohan destroying the money was the one last test for his father if he really meant what he said about them being family again.
Without the money keeping him there his dad showed his true colors - a miserable homophobic wretch who only cared about what benefited him. So now Sohan can accept, come to terms with the shitty relationship and complicated feelings he has about his biological family and FINALLY cut his sperm donor out of his life completely.
And in the beginning, when Sihwa crashed into his house, he thought to himself "Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket? No, money should be earned with hardwork!" Something along those lines.

Also for ppl who thought Ilya was an innocent boi I can't believe you took one look at the completely empty lake and missed *that* foreshadowing. Well less of foreshadowing and more of a sign of Ilya's character.
