It started out as a very cute and wholesome friendship story between 2 boys and a bunch of kids playing in the playground to suddenly confessing their love the next. I wouldn't have minded if this were a shounen ai instead of being a yaoi since the romance plot felt forced. It could've been developed in a next volume.
