I am on the dads side, you don’t want your children marrying someone that’s not adding to the picture, it’s just… there. Also I feel like this playful way of not giving them their blessing is definitely gonna make them work harder, which again is for good and character development. If you’re not up for messing up and having failure in front of you, you don’t deserve to get married. Periodt
