What are some plot device's you're quickly growing tired of?
- the rich abusive/ psychopathic ml and the poor gullible and innocent mc that doesn't get traumatized, is a saint and forgives anything the ml does to him. - as u said, the nonexistent trauma of the mc in rape/ assault scenarios ( which are sometimes just there for the ml to save the mc, unless it's the ml inflicting it on the mc ) - i also HATE ......

What are some plot device's you're quickly growing tired of?
I'm so tired of enemies to lovers stories where the rivalry is super one sided. Usually the love interest is always wayy stronger then the mc and it's basically impossible to win against them, for example Codename Anastasia is probably one of the worst ones I have ever read, it's not even fun watching the mc go against the ml cuz that guy has more ......

The normal and healthy relationship is obviously with Raon but i can't seem to shake the feeling that he's sus or that somehow his love is "not that deep" or that I'm waiting for a different side of him to pop up - I can't explain it. On the other hand, Gaon's obsession/ love that he doesn't know he feels - is more intense and sincere but it's abusive and unhealthy.They probably are going to pair imae up with him though, let's be honest..The only way i can accept the Gaon endgame is if it comes out later that he wasn't the one responsible for Imae's mother's death ( maybe it was a villager that happened to kill her right before the invasion or something like that) because Imae never really cared for anyone else tbh and his fellow villagers would have sold him for grain if they could..
