Imagine getting abducted under the guise of getting more support for your country; you find out the person lied and you’re unable to get home. They try and forced you with your abductor or anyone from their country so you become an awakened for them. Then the one person you pair with is a solider with a lot of loyalty for that country. Then whenever you seem unhappy or unresponsive to her she asks do you want to be physically involved with your abductor.
I’d feel like she was a spy and resent her and her people too.
After all of that when you finally accept it and love your partner so much you propose to them; the government uses her as a threat whenever you don’t want to do as they want.
Yes the FL was neglected and she was emotionally hurting, but part of that is a lack of communication on both parts. Idk if they should have gotten back together, but they are finally communicating so that’s better.
Completely agree, he had a valid crash out. Everything you once knew gone forever and when you finally have someone, they are in danger too.

exactly! This is what i’ve been saying! They were both hurting by themselves and were not communicating but for me i think it’s good if they get back together IF they grow first, since they have so much love for each other. the FL has a life outside the ML and isn’t depending all her emotions on him and ML is more expressive and most of all they are both communicating! It’s the right person but wrong time kind of thing and i love that they are coming to the right time slowly but surely
