I get not forgiving people for what they've done but like...even for your own peace you need to talk it out better. They never once sit down and try to hash it out. The fact that the emporer didn't believe the prophecy and yet still abandoned her..? Reading his wifes diary and still not trying harder to fix the relationship with his daughter, still trusting amaryllis, The simple and stupid death of amaryllis, just so so sooo many other little issues I had with this. Don't get me wrong it still has so many adorable moments but like...idk honestly this wasn't really worth it in the end. So many irredeemable chracters. I'm glad she learned she doesn't have to forgive anyone but that doesn't make it good either. Wish there woudl've been more depth or more of a comeback for her. The emperor covering up amaryllis being a homunculi, the entire country still hating ashtarte AND THEN randomly the emperor telling everyone amaryllis was a homonculus later at the end. just such a mess for no reason. like "uh just in case you weren't satisfied we threw it in last minute because yay happy ending" So dumb.
That haircut at the end was a disaster.
