im so sick of story arcs like this. brotha stop making decisions for him or overthinking and just let him know. A person can make a decision for themselves. it's their life. instead of saying "you should go", why not ask "what do *you* think" or how do you feel about it
the story now just feels like stretched out unnecessarily
