i have a lot of thoughts about this but i'm just gonna say that yeah wonil fucked up their relationship. taking a step back was the wrong move, but he was young and dumb...and he's still young and dumb tbh. not saying it's all his fault ofc. but if he really loves hyunjae he should have stood his ground for their relationship, and actually talked all of it out with him. about hyunjae's fears and worries. taking a step back and acting like a fuckboy who doesn't actually care about him is just stupid.
and yeah hyunjae is the other part of the problem for pushing ppl away and giving up on the thought of ppl loving him and sticking with him which wonil basically perpetuated with his behavior. so when someone shows up and basically takes over his life, love bombs him, gives him everything he asks for and acts like he'll never leave him? yeah he holds onto it. even tho the dude broke his fucking leg and kidnapped him. it's a lot of manipulation. and the idea that he also had a leash on him made him feel like he had some power over him, therefore couldn't be manipulated (liiiiies). ok i wasn't gonna talk this much i'm gonna shut up just holy shit this is so good
