Yes, I was thinking that could be one of the endings, but what if the author wants to make something different, yk, like tragic and unpredictable? Shi-where ML really ends up killing him because he wants to comply with the MC’s wish, while the ML decides to kill himself out of love, lmao.
Or maybe the killer gets arrested before he can kill MC, orrrrr their roles get reversed (between the killer and the one that have dying wish), hahaha. Basically, I’m thinking the author just doesn’t want to go for the typical “normal” happy ending. But maybe I’m just overthinking it since there are those cute side (●'◡'●)ﾉ

Can someone share, why the og elliot's story got hate by the duke? Was it really bad or is there some kind of reasons?
Didn't they already say in the earlier chapters that the Duke hated the book written by og Elliot because it was about war and Elliot knew nothing about the trauma and horrors of war. The Duke clearly has PTSD and the way og Elliot "romanticized" wars must've felt very disrespectful and ignorant.
And considering the dukes influence the matter just went out of hand.
