i mean the novel is finished so i doubt they're gonna chnge the ending for the manga. i do agree however. it was even said in the normal ending that Eclise was the most reluctant to blame Penelope as he served under her and understood her better than anyone else. why would HE of all peoppe betray Penelope in this timeline? it just seems out of nowhere.

I really don't get why ppl baby eclise so much. His feelings for penelope are the same type that derrick has but for some reason it's okay for eclise to do the things he did (i.e. kidnap her, try to kill callisto, try to kill everyone, & etc.). Derrick became so obsessed with her (sexually/romantically) that he abused her, tried to keep her for himself, and refused to let her call him oppa/brother. I don't think eclise deserves to be hurt but def doesn't deserve to be with her bc his feelings for her weren't right. plus he's not even the second male lead. he's the secondary antagonist.
