How is mangago pronounced?
Like ninjago or manga-go??
Personally, I say manga-go but my gf pronounces it like mahn-gahgo; basically how u would say ninjago.

Does anyone know why the art styles of most manhwas that were originally a light novel are the same?
I’ve noticed that’s it’s usually that same fuckass art style, and it’s not bad or anything; I just don’t get why that art style keeps getting copy and pasted.

Honestly a pretty surface level take but I feel like anyone who glazes the redemption yaoi stories are just people who love the idea of someone changing for them. And I just wanted to hear other people’s opinions on redemption arc yaois.

With that being said I love redemption arcs, just not in romance. Like I love Vinland saga and vagabond. There’s nothing wrong with someone changing and I love to see growth, I just don’t agree with staying with someone or getting back together after they dogged you out so fucking badly that it literally damaged your nervous system.

A lot of the popular yaois start off with the shitty seme and then he changes for the uke and yall eat it up but I genuinely don’t find those stories appealing.
Even with banana scandal, which everyone hyped up to be the best redemption arc, I didn’t find the second story that appealing. Dgmw I read it all, and I enjoyed the read. I also agree it was realistic but not realistic objectively, but not realistic subjectively.
Imo, they should’ve never gotten back together. Getting back tg, no matter how many years has passed just don’t work imo. I feel like our relationships with people are always meant to create a certain dynamic, and by returning to a dynamic that you’ve outgrown causes you to regress a past version of yourself.
(Plus I’ve had my own experiences w dating my exes, ts just don’t work)

Anyways, I do completely understand it’s fiction. Typically the more you can see urself in a piece of fiction, the more you like it. I personally just can’t see myself in that waiting for someone who dogged me out to change for me. And in some stories they don’t be waiting, but they still be taking them niggas back like no leave him where he had you fucked up at????
I’ve also noticed in real time a lot of women seem to be obsessed with the idea of having someone change for them bc the other person realized their worth, or being chased after “when it’s too late” and even the idea of being the girl who got away.
Which I believe is how we get all these low self-worth having ass yaois, and the people who hype them up reflect that.

This is just from my own experience tho ofc, if u and ur ex who completely dogged you out and caused actual damage to your nervous system got back together and worked things out then good for you.
I’m just yet to see that happen, and I don’t think it ever will.

TLDR; I’m tired of redemption arc yaois. Idc if the seme changed bro, leave that nigga where he has you fucked up at and be someone who can meet u where ur at in that moment.

OKAY, I watched this show in 2021 and I believe it’s a jdrama.
It’s bl, but there’s more subplots. I can’t remember if the guys r roommates or if they’re neighbors in the same apartment.
I genuinely can’t remember much, I recall the main characters like beating up his comforter to dry it??
And I think there’s a het couple in there, and some old folks who live in the complex too.
I think it’s an older jdrama, like 2010-2015
