i had to reread this like 3 times, but yea i get what u mean. it's so annoying too because, they act like the ml backstory justifies the fact that he treats everyone like shit, and sometimes the backstory is trash but the mc still acts like the ml suffered so much like "im so sorry u had to go through this, i guess i overreacted when u abused me so......
