I saw some time ago that Astana mistakes the Emperor as Perez since he (Emperor) also wears an armor with a red cape (something like that). Astana kills his father iirc...anyway the Emperor will be killed in the forest, and I'm not sure if Perez killed Astana ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

ok... so I've read somewhere that Perez actually doesn't kill Astana, because he wants the other to be the King? Perez wants to be with Tia and he can't do it if he becomes the king . (I'm not 100% sure but I read it in some comments fs)

No no it's not, I forgot clearly cuz I read it like 2 years back or so but for sure in this competition, Astana tried attacking Perez (forgot if it was due to hallucinations or something), and that's when Perez attacks him and Astana loses his hands if I'm not wrong (also he loses one of his legs as well don't remember if it was in this arc or later). Also the emperor dies much later cuz Perez kills him slowly by feeding him poison everyday so that's half of the plot I remember (• ▽ •;)

the gist of it, in the forest Astana mistakes the Emperor (who was wearing Perez's armor and standing beside Tia) as Perez and swings his sword at the Emperor-- but well, there's like 10 knights around the Emperor so that didnt work but Astana's delirious and persistent so as he swings at the Emperor again, Perez cuts Astana's arm ╮(￣▽￣)╭
the Emperor doesn't die in the forest btw

As far as I remember the Emperor won't die in the forest but he will die because he's been poisoned slowly why the empress since a long time ago but anyways Astana and his Mom will go to prison then Astana will sell his mother out for his own survival
