Hmm I don’t really remember them even mentioning this option but she seems to hate city guys because of what happened to her mom. Doesn’t necessary mean she hates the city. I think it might’ve been worthwhile to show that he’s different from the rest but I think they wanted to just end the series quickly so idk why you talking like it’s set in stone.
