I saw some spoiler and ASTOR BROWN is actually a WOMAN. She is actually just wearing men's clothes and is wearing her hair short.. at the end of the novel it said that she married an emperor from another place.

OMG I DID NOT EXPECT THAT! BUT I STILL SIMP AAAAAAAAHHH.

Is the first time in my life I see the villain have a happy ending. I have conflicted feelings, is frustrating. The first prince died, the mermaid died, the princess wished for true love and ended with a manipulative womanizer and the jerk of the history gets everything he wanted just because a childish complex over his brother. My congratulations to the author this is even more sad than the original little mermaid.
