If you were grateful then you wouldnt talk bad about those people who put much effort into making this artwork more accesable.

It's honestly a shame that some people need to put down others to cope with their own insecurities.

You must not understand the scanlating culture because Sailor Luffy has a point. You talk about effort? The original team Luna Lotus Scans put the most in their uploads from PROPERLY cleaning, typesetting, and even BUYING the actual raws. S2manga just pretty much tried to snipe the project from Luna Lotus for no good reason. Idk even know if their translations are just machine translated or their was an actual person who knew korean. It wasn’t like the project was dropped from from Luna Lotus too. They didn’t even buy the raws and got them from a korean ripping site. If you’re going to scan, you can at least buy the raws yourself.

So no, I disagree that people who are unsatisfied are being ungrateful, I’d rather be patient and wait for better quality to support the original team who has been working on the series for most of it. Also this is coming from someone who is scanning series themselves. If a series that I put my time and effort to give the best quality in both scans and translations suddenly gets sniped by some random ass team which lower quality and questionable translations, I’d be pissed too.

You don't have to read it and you don't have to go around and question peoples intentions.

You don't know why they took over either maybe Luna didnt update for a long time or whatever.
You can't judge them without knowing their reasoning.

If you dont like it then thats your opinion but why would you badmouth people when they are putting effort into it even If the quality is bad even If they used google translate, they still wenn through with it and sacrificed their free-time even though they don't gain anything from it.

I would've never known this story even existed If i hadn't stumbled upon it on this platform. They make those Mangas more accesable for a lot of people and some might even want to go check out the creator support him because of that.

I don't see the point in making assumptions and making people feel bad about themselfes.

You guys should rant on whoever uploads translations from s2manga here.

But s2manga members uploading to different known free manga sites to promote thier site is also a suspect.

Since for the past few months I have seen thier trans on different free manga sites I'm in. And old free manga sites at that.

I completely agree with you. I really hope luna lotus scans come back. Also, it is very clear that they sniped the project since why would LLS gave it up since chapter 76,77,78,79 where all posted on the same day but only 76 were done by LLS. The worst part about this is that I've seen s2manga doing this in another manhwa (The Archmage's Daughter). We're not ungrateful, as someone who was also in a scanning team for a short time, I would rather give people something good they can enjoy compared to something clearly rushed and terribly translated.

Seriously, I'm just going to read the updates from their discord from now on to support. I checked S2Manga's site and even if they might have not been the one who probably uploaded in Mangago, whoever did it, like why? Literally, there was no reason to. Luna Lotus has been consistent like idk if the uploader thought they were doing everyone a favor when it just caused more issues really. Now everyone who doesn't know what's going on will be confused by the reuploads etc and the chapters numbers are going to get messy.

Exactly, why do people go on attacking others who simply points out that their translation flow and word choice just isn’t the best especially if compared to luna lotus scans? that’s not hating s2manga team but simply trying to help them improve since they can. Also, for those not aware, LLS didn’t drop this project so in scanlation culture, picking up a project not dropped or not unupdated for 4-6 months (i think) means you’re SNIPING the project. THAT is DISRESPECTFUL to the efforts done by the one who is presently translating the project. In that case, s2manga is in the wrong here.

It doesnt help Thema to get called names.

I don't say that sniping stuff is nice but we're Reading this for free, so we shouldnt be the ones to judge.

They still so all the Work that needs to be deine die us to read the chapters and im still grateful for that.

But If seems like Mode people are more upset because of the "bad" quality than about the fact it was snitched.

If you want a better quality then buy the chapters and read it, insults wont help the Team to improve.

Pointing out parts they can improve on and saying the translation has bad quality isn’t INSULTING, that’s what you call constructive criticism. You can appreciate them more if you support their efforts but also want them to improve on parts they can improve on. I see you all around the comment section defending this scans team so i want to assume that you’re simply empathetic to s2manga but can’t see the pov of others over this issue or you are from s2manga but can’t accept the opinion of others. I’ve been a proofreader for years and yes, I may not be the one translating directly but believe me, i know how scan teams feel when doing projects so don’t go around telling me that they’re being insulted when they’re not.

True and not just this Manhwa, S2Manga is translating different Manga/Manhwa/Manhua with poor translation.

I think they are doing this to promote their site. If you read in S2Manga, per chapter has ads!

2 - 3 ads at that!

Moreover, I have been following S2Manga updates and still doing Scans they have Snipped updates and they sometimes are kinda late for a day. Like they just copying from current Scans and just changing it a bit with a poor translation so they will not look like they copied it.

I hope s2manga site get shut down!
