Idk if the others already forgot about this part but Eclis didn't just brought Yvonne back but he also sold off his fellow slaves to save his self. The slaves are attempting to escape but Eclis reported them. Penelope purposely sent him to met those slaves cuz she felt bad for them so she gave him some medical supply and money and yet he did that.
Just let Serie sidelined in the story like Kraft. Who despite being powerful doesn't stands out. Just don't kill her pls ╥﹏╥
Serie may be too overpowered in the current era, or even irrelevant in a world of peace, but being killed by an assassination from magic haters feels a bit dull. If she's gonna die anyways at least make her death reasonable.
Shadow Warriors goal is still suspicious. If they wanted to get rid of magic, why so? If it's only their leader's goal the other members don't have reason to do so. Much less to a shallow goal like that. The old dwarf guy for example, he seems a good guy cuz he was buddies with the Hero party before.
If you get rid of magic, everyone becomes mortal. They become weak. Getting rid of magic makes it easier to take care of “hindrances.”
True, which is why it seems this is the goal/work of a demon. Only a demon would want Serie, Frieren and other magic users to die.
But how come the Magic Special forces or Denken are not on the hitlist?
Most likely because they are connected to the royal family. The Magic Association is a completely separate entity and organization that holds no ties to the royal family which means they could very easily break their treaty and take over the royal family. The magic special forces are pretty much the police force of the kingdom, which means they are required to have magical abilities to take care of other people with magical powers, so they get a freebie. But anyone that’s affiliated with the Magic Association, especially adventurers, have no ties to the royal family so they are considered a ‘threat.’
But the Shadow Warriors are also an enemy of the Empire and Magic Special forces. It was the previous King who officially disbanded the Shadow Warriors so why would the leader of the Shadow Warriors not target the current King and the Magic Special forces? Their goal just doesn't make sense.
The Continental Magic Assoc cannot topple the Empire and take over the royal family esp when Denken is also an Imperial Mage.
Also, the Shadow Warriors didn't just target Continental Magic Assoc mages, they killed any mages even within the Empire.
One mage cannot defeat Serie. Multiple mages couldn’t even defeat Frieren’s clone in the test. That fact is what makes them want to destroy the magic association.
They also killed people, nobles within the empire. They killed everyone that was a ‘hindrance’ to the royal families ideals.
This is why I liked Sir Mio, he knew what boundaries are and respected Ash so much. He didn’t pursue her because he knew she didn’t have feelings for him. And even if they had liked each other, he knew he couldn’t force Ash to stay in that world and live with him.
This chapter is giving vibes with "Philomel the Fake" & "Kill the Villainess" basically instead of game/novel story it's actually a real world with real life.
So Yor feelings is now clear all we need is Loid. Will it take another 100 chapters tho

Serena keep refusing Dietrich cuz in the novel their child would become a tyrant and it was HER who pushed her kid to be like that. What bothers me is, if she knows the story/future shouldn't she just change how she will raise her kid instead? The solution she came up is to marry the 1st prince so her future kid wouldn't be born.
That's just it? In the end of the anime they made it like Atsuhi & Akutagawa will fight that creature.
