Is it just me, or am I the only one tired of blanket statements where, when it's a female character, it's for the male gaze, and when it's a male character, it's for the female gaze? Like when people complain when a game doesn't include a lot of women or men, they make it into, "Well, I guess they don't want women to play their game if they include......
