I will post my unpopular opinion, and I say I really didn't like the father after the last chapter. I get it; he is a victim who got forced to have sex with men. While he is attracted to women, he was not allowed to make a family because he had to please men. But pushing his hatred toward a child that is not the cause of his misery, tbh, turned me off of liking him. I get it; no victim is perfect. But it's not like I can help with my feelings, you know. I mean, they are just characters; it's not like I'm disliking a real person. Also, scenarios like those rarely happen in real life; queer people are the ones that get forced to get with the opposite sex and make a family, especially women.

I meant the character wanting to get married to the opposite sex while he is not allowed to, while in real life, that rarely happens, and the opposite happens: queer people are the ones who get forced to get with the opposite sex to marry them. Yet people were interpreting it as being about prostitution. Like if you are going to attack me, attack me for this shit. Stop ignoring what I'm saying and villainizing me because I said I didn't like a fictional character because he took in a child he didn't like and then had a built-in hatred for him, Then he said to the ML that he always hated him and then literally stabbed him. Like if this happened in real life, whatever, maybe I would excuse it, but this is a 2D character, and I'm allowed to dislike him for it.
bottoms in BL are men. Like, I'm tired of people heterofying gay shit. Just because he is a bottom doesn't mean he is a woman. Quite frankly, it's quite misogynistic to even suggest it. Why are you linking bottoming to being a woman? Most of the time I love bottoms more than tops, but sometimes you dislike a character; it's normal. But then they jump you by saying, "How dare you? He's gone through this, this, and this. He is a victim." Like and? If you are so passionate about him and his pain, why are you reading this manhwa where he gets brutally raped again and again, where it's clear the author is sexualizing it? Like you jumped at people for criticizing the manhwa for being rapey by saying, "It's just fiction, and people are going too woke," yet you are jumping people who didn't like the character and then trying to guilt-trip them. Like, which one do you believe? Do you believe it's just a fiction, or do you believe that not liking the character makes you a horrible person? and then accuse you of misogyny because you didn't like a straight man who got forced to have sex with men. First, men get fucking raped. You were trying to convince me that straight men's prostitution is a serious thing and it's really prevalent, and then you are linking rape and prostitution to women by calling me a misogynist for not liking the character. Second, the character was clearly desiring women and wanted to build a family with them. HE.IS.A.STRAIGHT.MAN. How is it misogynistic to not like him? Like, I really feel bad and sorry for him for going through being raped, but at the end of the day he is a character that I don't like. Like, I don't even like the ML that much; I just didn't like that he took in a child that he hated in the first place because he thought the child was taking his woman away or some shit. Like, people were waiting for a reason why the father hated the ML, and this was his reason. Like, I was disappointed about it, because at the end of the day, this is a story; I expected there to be a better reason for the plot's sake and got disappointed. Like, I really loved the father; I really thought his reasons were deep, but they weren't that deep tbh, and it's just made me disappointed with his character. Those things made me not like him.
