I just want to point out that DS and MS are not the same. Dominance can be achieved even by little things like rules the sub follows in daily life. MS is the one we think of when we hear BDSM. This book is a purely DS book. He’s showing love by controlling the subs life in subtle ways (checking messages, knowing his whereabouts, knowing who he talks to, etc). That’s dominance. A lot of people don’t realise that. You can have both a DS and MS relationship at once but typically only DS is 24/7 unless you’re a maso-slave. I wish people would spread actual information about what it actually is like so that the BDSM community don’t get demonised or misinterpreted.
