i actually high key like it. the misunderstanding itself is easily resolvable, but that's not really the main issue here. it's the distrust and hate, that feeds that misunderstanding. the misunderstanding is just the tip of the ice berg. both characters are deeply flawed in the ways they navigate life. in order to resolve the misunderstanding, they must first have character development. i dont think there's been much character development aside from "wow, i was such a virgin loser, but now that i've tasted sex, this is how good sex feels. i love it! gimme more!" â•®(￣▽￣)â•
I feel the same way. The further things go with the lies and misunderstandings, the more both of them are pushed towards recognizing that they have not been living their lives in a way that’s healthy or fulfilling. I think Joo-hwan is a little closer to achieving this than Si-hyun right now, since he seems to be aware that he uses these lies as a defense mechanism in all his personal relationships. Si-hyun’s lack of self worth and twisted view on love seem to run really deep.
