The highest-ranking person there, who is a prince, took interest in him and announced that the MC should become his assistant. But since the MC already experienced the future, he knows what will happen — including the fact that he will eventually kill the prince because of the his greed, it's adapted from the novel and it's slow burn I marinated it for too long now I don't even know the title
Basically all of them have a poly ending, apart from a few where it's not clear if one of them is gonna be endgame or all of them
