IKR that could have been avoided! And i kinda felt uncomfortable when Gray said he won’t give up all whilst the other dude was fuckin him. I think it didn’t fit well in the story and it was just not right.

I think it was reasonable for Blair to use Grey's emotions towards Ethan against him as some kind of defense mechanism since Blair disliked that Grey made him recall his past memories of him and Torres. I don't know if Blair's species have some kind of attack they can do, but they're mainly known to have sex with their prey to feed off of them; I don't know if they can use poison without sex.

OH! Now that I think about it... Since Ethan knows Grey and Blair aren't human, Ethan would know if Blair did something horrible to Grey because Blair protects Ethan from other creatures like Grey. Blair also knows that Grey is special to Ethan so that's another reason why Blair would attack Grey by humiliating him with his own desires instead of using poison or something, you know? Mess with him emotionally rather than something noticeable like beating him physically.

Blair also mentioned that he was interested in Grey's 'taste' since he's a half-breed so that would also influence him to do that as well.
