in my perspective to break it down:
(feel free to just listen to me rant)
hyesung was very mad that both of them kept that secret from him for sooo long. that secret was not soo simple too, it was regarding his mother that abandoned him, leaving him to go through all thos hard times(i will not list all that there's too many)(he had every right to be mad)
Byul on the othe hand, was shocked his Mom found out that he was talking with his grandma, leading him to panic and answer his mom impulsively. while his response was said impulsively I think it also had something to do with how he also felt like he too was at some point abandoned.
WAIT DON'T COME FROM ME LET ME EXPLAIN-
Yes, Hyesung did came back and all them became a happy family and soo and soo-
BUT for the love of god stop pretending that y'all would shrug something off like that, saying something like "oh if I were byul i wouldn't talk to my mother like that, like even though hyesung did abandoned him as a baby he still came back". HECK Byul found out how "he wasn't wanted as a baby", overhearing his parent's conversation when he was a TODDLER. That would traumatize me too-
plus to this day he still didn't know why and didn't even asked his parents about it cuz he was too afraid of confrontation, and probably thinks be doesn't need confrontation cuz of what he said- and i quote him saying "even though he thought about getting rid of me, I don't hate him at all."
AGAIN, It was VERY Bad that he kept that secret from hyesung, but on his perspective his parents kept secrets from him too and at some point he was left behind too, making him think it's unfair that hyesung can get mad at his Grandma, while he kept it to himself that he felt abandoned by his mother at some period of time too. (AGAIN YES I KNOW HE CAME BACK BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINTT)
I know for a fact that some of yall will again say "oh but if only Byul knew what his mom had been through all those years, then he'll probably be more greatful" THAT'S THE POINT, BYUL DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING THAT'S WHY HE ANSWERED HIS MOM LIKE THAT. It's the most Human teenage kid's reaction to something like that, and that what i like about it-
what did y'all expect him to be a perfect goodboy mc character with no flaws, setbacks and problems? that's a boring story, give me drama, setbacks, character development, and complicated characters, THAT'S LIKE THE BASICS OF MAKING A STORRY! (I personally like more angst and make it slow burn into a happy ending when it comes to stories-)
IN CONCLUSION, Both Hyesung and Byul's reactions are valid but through all this I think Hyesung was the most affected on in this situation, I hope they figure things out on the next chapter.

help me find the bl manga where the mc and the ml get reincarnated over and over again in different times/era and always ended up dying whenever they turned 21 cuz it was "fated" to happen. The mc only have a slight memory of the past while the ml rememberes every detail of their past lives together. They both want to stop their "fated end" but with different solutions, the mc wants to stop fate by living carefully while still being a couple till they pass the said age they usually die on while the ml wants to avoid the mc and wish mc a better life and a better partner instead of him cuz he think that them being a couple/in love is the reason they always die Young.
