Like fr. I'm bi and I've had my fair share of relationships with girls... But even with my queer and really open minded best friend I couldn't even bring myself to tell their real name. I know they're not going to say anything but honestly it's just so fucking scary to be in a gay relationship in a country like mine
And I know it's a trauma response but it's not that simple to just blur out everything I wish it wasn't but that just the reality of things. If I could change that I'll do it but it's just so scary and traumatizing. Only my friend and brother know that I'm bi. I don't blame him at all it's obvious why he just can't tell everyone.

(Thank you for this, let me use this comment to teach and encourage some people.) No one's ignoring them. Infact thanks to openly queer people the one who's having a hard time showing themselves starts having courage, thanks to them. And this is what we're seeing in this story. The more Jiwon see those people, the more he'll have courage too. Our Jiwon is taking one step at a time. To the people who is similar to him please don't beat yourself up too much. It takes time, you'll get there! Slowly but surely. After that, go out there and be yourself because you're helping a lot by just doing that
