sucks. i get that all of the historical fantasy’s are going to have some level of blatant misogyny but this is just too much, every chapter. and the worst part is she didn’t even do bc she still has to remain pure or that opal guy wouldn’t have liked her. also the first guy she got married too was crazy. getting mad at her and then abandoning ur mistress cause u fell is love is crazy
