This beyond-parasocial relationship of finding your favorite stream and bothering them while walking on the street wouldn't really work if he were average and below in looks and inpatient because Jinhong would (rightfully) turn him down if he weren't Jinhong's type and the person seeking Jinhong were overly persistent, but thankfully, it worked out for Mac because his looks passed that initial stranger barrier and he didn't push beyond what Jinhong wanted until Jinhong says he wants it. But at least the rest of the relationship worked out in that manner... I guess?
I guess I'm saying Mac's looks were an entry point while his personality was the vehicle. So, it's fine, I suppose.
