This whole situation sends the wrong message. It's saying that if you're hurt, it’s okay to let go of your dignity and self-respect just for the sake of closure. But that’s not real closure. Self-respect should come first, and Sooae’s behavior here, kissing him to get answers, doesn’t reflect that. She’s letting him off too easily, and the readers who don’t question it are missing a critical point: boundaries matter, and if we ignore them, we end up in unhealthy patterns of behavior.
For anyone who disagrees, go ahead and speak up. I actually want to hear different perspectives.
I really don't get it, what's the point of Dohwa? Leave him alone. You ask him if he likes you, he says yes, then kiss Eunhyuk? This feels like The Notebook but on crack. There has to be a reason for this, right?

Honestly — would you return to someone who abandoned you for ten years? Sooae was mature and resilient; when Raim betrayed her she kept it to herself and didn’t burden her parents, choosing silence over confrontation. With her ex Minsoo, her attempt to reconcile was motivated by something trivial (Marang). Either way, it’s hard to imagine why she would remain and forgive that kind of treatment from Eunhyuk.
Now, regarding Dohwa — his first confession was left unanswered. We never received a clear response from Sooae, and he left without a proper goodbye. The story never showed how that moment concluded; one scene cut from Dohwa crying to Sooae reflecting alone in her room, realizing her own ignorance and how she had failed to notice his feelings.
Eunhyuk, on the other hand, left because of multiple pressures — the rumor, his mother’s accident, and perhaps the moment he saw Sooae reject his call before leaving abroad. The reason I bring up Dohwa is to draw a contrast: Dohwa left out of love, and selflessness, while Eunhyuk’s departure seemed driven by the emotional weight, largely influenced by Raim.
So the question is: if Eunhyuk were to offer closure, and reconcile with Sooae, would it be logical if she stay with him?
If the author chooses to prioritize drama, then Eunhyuk will likely be the endgame. But if the story were to follow a more realistic and emotionally consistent route, Dohwa would be the preferable conclusion.
And for the record — I like both Eunhyuk and Dohwa before the time skip, so don’t come for me. I just need a proper discussion because this manhwa is seriously testing my sanity. I need other opinions!

I get where you're coming from and completely agree with everything you wrote above... but sadly 99% of the manhwas here are pretty predictable and the shitty ML stays as the ML. I admit i liked both of them too before the time jump, but after how Eunhyuk left Sooae all alone, i resent him. I can't like him in the same way as before. Meanwhile Dohwa was always there for her selflessly. I can't find any fault in his behaviour. So i root for Dohwa to be the end game but sadly... Eunhyuk will be the one (probably)
If this is how it ends, it would be such a disservice to Sooae’s character. Letting everything collapse just to have her end up with the “first male lead” feels like lazy writing, especially when it takes precedence over her growth. Our girl Sooae still has so much love to give…:(
I know, i know.. honestly i can't remember a manhwa where the "2nd" ML won from all the manhwas I've read so far. Probably i even forgot some of them lol, but from those that i can clearly remember the 1st ML always won no matter what his behaviour was in the beginning and later on. And actually the weird part is that i like toxic manhwas and tsundere behaviour even yandere lol. The enemies to lovers type. But if the character lacks sth or is repeating the same behaviour again and again it's starting to get boring and irritating, so sometimes that's the reason why I'm rooting for the 2nd ML and have the 2nd ML syndrome haha
