I just binge read it just now and reviewed some similar theories people had.
Warning for those there are spoilers:
1. The scene of Guwon coming out of the rubble uninjured and no one noticed him. Plus how he made his way to the village from what seemed to be the city.
2. Guwon's tattoos especially the stitches on neck/ankles give the impression of put together undead frankenstein (could just be style choice) with the blackout arm sleeves.
3. The title usually has a big connection to what to expect. So looking up Sisyphus who is part of Greek mythology, he was the one punished in hades to roll a boulder up a hill only to watch it roll back down before reaching the top. He was so arrogant he could do it, he continued non stop. The only stone mentioned is the one at the top of the mountain he showed Jinwoo...always looking at it to make sure it wouldn't roll down. How the hounds fit we still have to find out.
4. When he killed that undead/maggot at the mountain viewpoint, the eyes looked to be the same color as Guwon's.
5. The multiple mentions of the moon which he also called the stone at the top of the mountain.
6. The scenes of Guwon talking to himself seemed like was someone else is inhabiting this body and playing an act or a split personality. Even more strange with the nose bleed, vomiting, fainting.
7. Jinwoo also seems to have more hidden things about him. Welding that knife and choking Guwon. Not taking the gun from doc like he knew how to handle himself...or didn't trust himself with a weapon. Both him and the dad had to do things to survive as long as they did. So I hope we see more of this timeframe. If he did agree with the girl's plan to get revenge, his persona flipped from the jumpy nature we saw before.
8. With no doc is the kid going to die regardless? I still wonder why these 3 kids were allowed in but not doc's family.
The way i view the puking was like when a dog licks you and though it's cute, it's also disgusting if it gets in your mouth. My theory comes from all the dog allegorical comments and relations in the way Gunwo treats people, like he categorizes some as cattle and others as puppies, you see how he was reluctant to open his mouth? Then after the taking a nap chapter, Teach mentions the shift in his Behavior, like almost a human romantic interest (but not an equal).
Also a little more into a head theory, the way he gives the ring at first is more like a collar than a romantic gesture.
Like some dogs are cattledogs and only one is his house puppy
You brought up some good points! I can see how the shift in mindset between cattle to beloved pet would cause his reactions. I agree the ring is more of ownership collar than anything romantic. There are so many interesting subtle dynamics in imagery that can lead to so many theory's. I can't wait to see where they lead to next! Just from this start I don't quite see how this will turn romantic by any means, but I like when a story keeps you guessing.
Looks like my prediction was right.... looking at the raws....
We are in for an underwhelming ending. Guess I'll be dropping this or leave this on the back burner until a few more dialogue chapters get translated to understand the dynamics.

So my comment on another post came true.... He disappears again after the deed and leaves alpha MC. Omega MC ends up meeting his dad at his place and they have a chat about everything...sees a photo realizing his parents are the couple that Alpha MC wanted to be like. I guess Omega MC hasn't been at the apartment/takes a flight somewhere. And Alpha MC is searching for him at his place and gets told by a neighbour the news....Then more back and forth scenes of angst/regret..meanwhile Omega MC is preparing for a performance and is with his Alpha singer friend.
Alpha Mc shows up and after the performance Omega MC is not feeling right...they have a confrontation and then he faints. As I guessed earlier their pity S** results in him getting pregnant. More back and forth discussions between Omega MC, Alpha MC and Alpha friend. Omega MC goes back with Alpha MC...tension is high and Omega MC gets some good news. Alpha MC is upset and has a phone call with someone, that Omega MC overhears. He is mad and leaves and I think he goes back to his old place but can't get in and Alpha MC shows up...more disagreements and as they are walking down the stairs Omega MC trips. He's trying to protect his stomach and wakes up on top of Alpha MC. They have some type of confession and kiss.
THE END...
So Yeah I was disappointed at the end result being so underwhelming. I'm assuming a lot of things didn't get resolved with them and other characters.
Now I get why, they were grossed out by the gummies... and treating them like dirty roaches. From this I am guessing, they are like the embodiment of decay/corrosion/pestilence/corruption. Which may have due to, the decrepit condition the manor is in and the death of how ever many sacrifices. They grew from this poisoned land as a result.
Mugo went through like 3 forms to get to Jaheon. Big snake, no brow monster and jerk Mugo.
I've noticed most comments are rooting for a whole redemption arc trope. But I was wondering percentage wise, if there are people who are like me, that care more for characters who are victims being uplifted. By that I mean, characters who are tragic, getting a backbone and making a healthy fulfilling life through sheer will. I am always more excited to read stories like these as they feel more accomplished. Like I want to give them all a round of applause and say congrats!
It's not going to happen with this author unfortunately ┗( T﹏T )┛ (at least with this manhwa???)
It's very difficult to write a story of victims being uplifted esp if the whole manhwa doesn't carry nuances like this. This kind storyline is too deep and needs to be pan out. Like you can't just give us 20 chapters and suddenly viewers would be convinced yes totally after all the shit MC has to go through with ML being part of the shittiness and center of the story, MC is healed. I mean it's already 61 chapters...
I think it may be someone from his original world he came from. It definitely is someone who has knowledge of the novel, considering how adamant they were of the fact he was going to be an evil dragon. It has to be someone he came across/knows well enough to be able to tell the voice is familiar even with the voice diffuser. Question is, how? and why? they brought both Inferna and mushroom author to this world. They can use magic from the looks of it. Another maybe option, is that the mushroom isn't all that innocent and is playing 2 roles. I just thought it was peculiar how they showed up conveniently at certain times.
( ̄へ ̄)
I figured his plan would be getting someone close to her. I just wondered how he would go about it. I can see this playing out with her being naive to save/befriend him. Then he remembers his memories and boom betrayal! Like its way to coincidental he spawned right there ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ She was so quick to suspect Yuriah. Like wouldn't you stay away from all nerephim.

Man this was cringy at times by how overly nice both MC and ML were. Not to mention what seems like a 15 yr or more age gap. But the kicker was the 2 "childhood friends" like WTF!? Who doesn't think of getting help from a professional about their trauma first. Both of them should! and actually had a conversation with each other. But no, let's toxically involve ourselves with another persons relationship and settle with them rather than dealing with the root of the problem.
Both MC and ML should have been more stern and had boundaries from the start. They weren't even mad enough and forgave them so easily.
