i don’t, i just genuinely think seeing the other male leads suffering is funny. i will say, idc who liqing ends up with… at least for shen yu i always hated the emperor and wanted him with xiao… but in this case, both of them seem a bit of a negative choice. atp, liqing would probably be better off without either of them. solely so he wouldn’t suffer through the struggle of a complicated life. my poor boy. i relate to him a lot though, what a nice character stuck in a shitty situation. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
