Lemme cook.
Shaman even said prophecies are vague and stuff so what if "fade into the shadows" means metaphorical death. The twin could be exiled or be removed from the family register/run away to another country.
I can see FLmc leaving to explore the world she's so curious about and living her best life. I just don't want this to end in tragedy. The MLmc likely will be the one who dies since A. He's got that illness trope b. His sister is physically stronger than him and this, in manwha, is usually a sign she's going to live.
And C she loves MLmc and would bow out to support him.

Hoshino finally feeding us. Aaaand it's flashback soup, again.
I knew Allen was likely connected to Bookman's previous successor, but more of a Neah's friend was Bookman Jr and became the host. Did not expect a whole 2 new characters. Now I'm curious if some of Allen's parental idealization of Mana partly stems from a lingering attachment to this Bookman Jr. we're going to see in these flashbacks.
Gender bending has been around since at least Shakespeare. It's a contrived plot, sure, but it's free angst for all parties involved. Yeah, the author could have avoided the whole BL novel; however, the misunderstanding of how the novel story works wouldn't be as inherent. The use of a BL novel is to subvert the MC's expectations (and the transmigrator's too) to fuel drama.
Having a GL would be fun (like maybe Xavian turns out to be a woman, too. It would add a nice layer.), but that isn't going to happen.
Thank you!! I was running to comment but you already said everything I wanted to say. Gender bender/cross-dressing stories have always existed, as well as 'transmigrating into a BL novel' ones. I don't know why everybody is so triggered. There are straight stories, there are queer stories, and then we have this kind of stories that are a bit of a mix (we usually have a love interest questioning their sexuality and realizing they don't care about the mc's gender and love them either way, which is what makes me love these stories so much when they're done well). There are LOTS of BL and (a bit less) GLs stories to choose from already, can't we have a bit of variety with more unusual storylines?
ALSO why is it always black or white, straight or gay? A character can be bisexual, pansexual, whatever. Just because an hyphotetically gay character falls in love with a woman doesn't make them less 'gay' (ykwim, they still like men, they just like women or A woman as well)
or u guys just want fw gay man erm idk maybe fetish or sumn
I legitimately have no idea what you're trying to say.
