so this is what they called dark romance. Spoiler ahead saw this in reddit and read the last chapter of this manhwa basically........ the story was straight to the point and didn’t try to romanticize the ML. HAHAHA everyone was so twisted even the FL and her "korean boyfriend". Like it started it with a dark beginning and it ended with a dark ending.

ANNA was the real wife after all they did fall in love with eachother.

So the story explained about the swan thing and demon thing responsibilities. So the first summon was actually made by the ML's father, it was successful and he made a offer to ileANNA that he knows how to take her back to her OG world, She agreed, and while trying to get close to the ML, they ended up falling in love. She asked him for a child, not because she wanted to stay but because she wanted to keep her end of the deal. After she gave birth, the father-in-law kept his word and sent her back.


Once she was back at korea she just lost her memory when she was transmigrated.


That's why ML still have ileANNA portrait because HE DID LOVED HER despite being a demon who isn't capable of loving someone so when ileANNA disappeared he felt betrayed and hurt so like yeah that's why he travel everywhere just to find her, and made a deal with that wizard chick to summon a swan. ( AHAHHAAHAH EVEN THE WIZARD GIRL WAS TWISTED RIGHT! LIKE she PURPOSELY fail all the summoning so she could manipulate the ML and so the ML wont throw her out ) anyway.

I'll stop spoiling so if you like dark romance continue the story but it's interesting to read dark romance and seeing it in manhwa adaptation, I'm kinda intrigued on what's the author and the creator of this manhwa will decide.
