Victor being mean to Heart could be a representation of how we fall in love with a person visually first before opening our own hearts to love. Maybe it's easier for him to see his lover's face and his lover's dick and process that but how do you See love? It could also be foreshadowing at the conflict Head hinted at in an earlier chapter.
