I really liked it!! I think their relationship is cute and I enjoy that there isnt a "weaker" individual among the couple, like a lot of stories tend to have. Like Yoon Jae actually tries to fight back lmao
I think i share the same sentiment of others here where i wish we got more character depth and reasonings why these characters made fhe choices they did. Like my biggest question is the relationship of the brothers who are kings?? Like they clearly had a big disagreement that I thought would have a reconciliation at the end but we ended up meeting one of the brothers without a proper reason?? Dude was just in the woods??
I also felt like Yeom-ra died so quickly after the chapters of build up of him taking power. Like dude was lonely and they kept building off of that and his obsession with Yoo Min thats been going on for centuries, only for him to die when they actually fought face to face.
I do enjoy the main couple a lot though! Its such a healthy relationship and miscommunication gets resolved really quickly which i love. Honestly its everything else that was lacking lmao, but still a fun read!
This was SO good, like as someone who identifies as being asexual, it was so so lovely to see this representation and possibly the best ace rep ive seen in manga so far! This manga also goes into so many relevant topics that this current generation is facing.
Like the brief mention of how hard of a world it is to live in right now (let alone having a kid), being burdened by what everyone wants you to have rather than what you want, how lonely it can be being "abnormal" from society and the beauty in finding happiness in platonic relationships!
I also love the chapter of describing different people in the queer community, along with the different takes the community has on topics like BL and lesbian sex because it feels real and still a topic people talk about to this day.
Like I have no words on how great this manga is and I wish it was longer. The flow of topics and conversations of each character feels real but also sometimes lighthearted and funny, which is amazing writing! Nothing felt corny or irrelevant and it was just so great.
Anyways yuriko is #real and I resonate with her so much I hope they have a long and happy life together <3
